Charlie
Charlie Northedge is a passionate musician, educator, and founder of the **first official Yamaha Music School** in Jersey and the Channel Islands. A graduate of the prestigious Musicians Institute in Hollywood, California, Charlie has built a career blending his expertise in performance with his dedication to music education.
Inspired by his own teachers, Charlie created a space where students of all ages and abilities can thrive. His school offers lessons in a variety of instruments, early learning programs, and music production courses, supported by a team of Yamaha-certified professional musicians. With a commitment to fostering creativity and confidence, Charlie’s mission is to inspire the next generation of musicians and make music accessible to everyone.

Emily
Emily Faye is originally from the UK and a graduate of the British and Irish Institute of Modern Music (BIMM) London. With over 10 years of experience, she is continuously releasing her own music, whilst performing at major venues & festivals, and embraces the future of music by releasing her work as NFTs.
Alongside her music career, Emily is passionate about teaching, and helping others unlock their full creative potential in songwriting and live performance.

Brodie
Hamish Brodie is our youngest Yamaha Certified teacher at just 19 years of age is a unique talent. Following completing grade 8 in piano he attended the famous Brit School in London. As the only channel islander yet to be accepted to Brit School, we are so happy to have him back in Jersey to share his talent and inspire.
He is a big fan of all kinds of music & loves exploring all genres, when he’s not at the music school you’ll find him geeking out at Island music or in songwriting sessions in a studio out west.

Alex
Alex Farry started learning guitar from the age of 13 and developed a passion for music, undertaking Music GCSE and A Level before going on to study Music Performance at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in London. Following several years of working for Celebrity Cruises as the house band guitarist on several of the ships he is now back with us & ready to share and impart his knowledge and experience of different musical styles and the art of live music performance. If you’re starting as a beginner, or looking to take your playing to the next level Alex is dedicated to fostering confidence & versatility throughout.

Hannah
Hannah Campbell graduated from the London School of Musical Theatre in 2008 where alongside dance and drama, she was trained by one of the West End's leading vocal coach's, Toni Pedretti A.R.S.M. As a professional singer Hannah has supported Will Young, Beverley Knight, Olly Murs & Alexandra Burke and recorded vocals on Joe McElderry's Album SMILE and the X-Factor Finalists show, 2011. Since returning to Jersey she has established herself as a professional singer in a number of successful local bands including 'Honeybun', 'ABBALOO', 'Inside Job', and currently vocal harmony trio ‘Optimistic Voices' and function band ‘RoodMood'. Hannah loves helping singers reach their full potential in voice and performance whilst enjoying the playfulness and freedom of song. If you have an upcoming audition, especially musical theatre related, then Hannah’s your girl!

Drums
Jonny
Jonny Aves is a seasoned drummer with a passion for funk, rock, and r&b. A former member of Maxfield, he’s performed at major festivals including Glastonbury and toured across the UK and Europe in various bands.
As a skilled session player and a long-time fixture on the local gigging scene, Johnny brings real-world experience and energy to every lesson, helping students build confidence and creativity behind the drums.

Saxophone & Keys
Jennah
Jennah is a Jersey-born multi-instrumentalist with over 10 years in the music industry. Her career spans genres, including work as a session musician for Queen, live performances, and theatre, notably on UK tours of T'he Lion King' and 'Wicked' as a flautist. She’s performed at the BBC Proms and even covered conducting duties for 'The Lion King'. Jennah also plays sax and has featured on West End Cast Recordings, including three world premieres. Now back in Jersey, she’s sharing her extensive knowledge by teaching and inspiring local musicians through the Yamaha method, while performing with local bands across various genres.
